Job Description:
The Turnaround Discipline Engineer is responsible for providing discipline expertise and support to all SUKEP Turnarounds, ensuring that all discipline requirements align with the Engineering department and Facility objectives. They ensure Technical Integrity through monitoring compliance, barrier assessments, reviews, audits, and contributions to the Maintenance Reference Plan.
Support is provided to all SUKEP-operated facilities; therefore, the engineer is not dedicated to any single event. They assist each Facility and Work Preparation team with technical aspects of work preparations, ensuring M&I procedures and practices are adhered to. Work direction is managed through the Turnaround Event Managers, as directed by the Maintenance and Turnaround Manager. The engineer interfaces with all functions within SUKEP to ensure maintenance and Technical Integrity are managed according to best practices and standards to meet business targets.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Chartered Engineer
* TA3 certification or higher
* Working knowledge of Discipline Controls and Assurance Framework (DCAF)
* Professional experience in the relevant discipline with proven experience on assets and equipment to be shut down for maintenance Turnarounds
* Understanding of Turnaround processes, including preparation and execution practices
