Nevill Hall Hospital / Royal Gwent Hospital/ Grange University Hospital
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Phlebotomist to join a well established Phlebotomy team within ABUHB.
There are several vacancies available based in RGH, GUH or NHH, you may be required to rotate to the other sites depending on service needs.
Full training will be given if the successful candidate does not hold the necessary Phlebotomy certificates. This training will be based in Royal Gwent hospital.
Main duties of the job
The job is to support the work of the Pathology Department by providing a phlebotomy service to inpatients (GUH, RGH & NHH) & outpatients (NHH).
Posts available are :
1. Based at RGH 25hours per week. Mon-Fri 07:30-12:30 - occasional rotation to GUH as needed.
2. Based at NHH 25 hours per week. Mon 8:30-13:30, Tues 11:30-16:30, Wed 8:30-13:30, Thurs 7:00-12:00, Fri 7:00-12:00- occasional rotation to GUH as needed.
3. 10hours per week - Mon 8:30-13:30 NHH, Thurs 7:00-12:00 GUH.
All posts may require occasional weekend working on an ad hoc basis.
