Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a talented Primary Special Needs teacher looking for a new teaching role from January 2025?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a teacher with experience of teaching pupils with social and emotional needs to join a specialist SEND primary school in south Rochdale.
This is a temporary full-time long-term supply role for a qualified SEND teacher from January 2025.
Ideally, this supply teacher will be suitable for a permanent role with a TLR for maths teaching responsibilities.
The Role
SEND Primary teacher
Working hours: Five days a week - 8.30 am to 3.30 pm
Responsibilities include:
* Teaching a class of 12 students aged 7 to 10
* Creating imaginative and adapted lessons which meet individual needs
* Collaborating with staff, pupils, parents, and the multidisciplinary team
* Directing the work of teaching assistants
The ideal teacher will:
* Be committed to inclusion and have a passion for SEND
* Be an excellent practitioner dedicated to inspiring young people
* Possess the emotional and physical resilience necessary for working with young people with complex needs

To join us and be successful in this SEND Teacher role, you will need to:
* Hold QTS Status or QTLS
* Have recent experience of teaching pupils aged 3 to 11 with SEND
* Pass an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional reference checks
* Provide a CV with a full employment/education history
* Have the legal right to work in the UK
