Job Summary This role combines the responsibilities of managing and designing our network infrastructure with crucial Network OperationsCenter(NOC) duties tomaintainour network's healthduring NOC shifts. The position requires travel to UK offices for onsite support and physical intervention when necessary. This position reports to the Director - Datacenter Operations within the Information Technology department. Responsibilities Include, but not limited to: - Network Design and Implementation: - Design and implement scalable and reliable network solutions using switches and routers to support our LAN/WAN environments. - Provide onsite support for physical installation and configuration - NOC Duties: - Monitor network performance and swiftly resolve issues using SolarWinds to minimize downtime andmaintainnetwork health - Proactively address potential network problems byutilizingSumo Logic for real-time log management and monitoring - Provide 24/7 network support on a rotational basis, ensuring network stability and performance - Firewall and Security Management: - Deploy and manage Palo Alto NGFW using Panorama for centralized management - Administer Cisco FTD firewalls through Cisco FMC to ensure robust security across our network - Implement and manage Cisco ISE for effective network access control and policy enforcement - Manage ClearPass for secure network access and policy management - Load Balancing and Traffic Management: - Configure and maintain F5 load balancers to ensure high availability andoptimalperformance of applications - Network Monitoring and Management: - Use SolarWinds for comprehensive network performance monitoring, fault management, andcapacityplanning - Implement and manage Meraki wireless network devices for seamless cloud-managed networking across various locations - Integrate and manage network-related tickets and incidents in ServiceNow for efficient IT service management - Wireless Network Management: - Design, deploy, and manage Cisco WLAN solutions to ensure robust wireless connectivity and user satisfaction - SD-WAN Implementation: - Design and implement SD-WAN solutions to optimize network performance and reliability across multiple locations - Onsite Support and Physical Intervention: - Travel to UK offices to provide hands-on support and physical intervention for tasks such as installing and configuring switches and routers, setting up Meraki wireless access points, and troubleshooting Cisco WLAN hardware issues Qualifications - Completed Bachelors Degree or relevant work experience required - CCNA certification - 5 years of experience deploying and configuring Cisco routers and switches - Strong knowledge of IP networking and the OSI model - Experience configuring and troubleshooting network routing protocols including BGP and OSPF - Experience configuring and troubleshooting IPSec VPNs Required Skills - Proficient in configuration of network firewalls - Proficient in configuration of Wi-Fi controllers and access points - Proficient in configuration of Cisco routers and switches - Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow a structured methodology to solve problems - Excellent teamwork and organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Desire and ability to research and study technology to increase knowledge and solve problems - Self-motivated and possessing the ability to complete tasks and projects when provided with high level requirements Preferred Skills/Qualifications: - Prefer CCNP certification - Prefer experience configuring Cisco FTD or ASA network firewalls - Prefer experience configuring Cisco wireless network controllers - Prefer experience configuring Cisco Viptela SD-WAN platform - Prefer experience configuring F5 LTM/GTM - Prefer experience configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) - Prefer experience configuring networking in AWS or Azure cloud environments - Prefer experience creating network documentation in Microsoft Visio Certifications Required - CCNA certification is required upon application Additional Information - Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break.
