Our practice is situated on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds offering endless opportunities to explore the great outdoors. Evesham is a quaint, historic market town with a range of local shops and numerous events taking place throughout the year. If London is more your shopping venue of choice, there is a fast train direct to London too.
We are a friendly and experienced team which includes 4 full time Vets, 1 part time Vet and a couple of locum/zero hours Vets too. When fully staffed, we have a team of 11 Nurses. You will be assured of a very warm welcome here at our hospital. Our team are always on hand to assist you as you learn to deal with the broad range of cases a hospital attracts. It is also very rewarding to be involved in the care of inpatients - we are the only IVC hospital in the area!
We have all of the toys here that you would expect a hospital to have including ultrasound, x-ray and an endoscope! We also have 2 certificate holders in Medicine and Radiology and one of our Junior Vets is about to embark on her Surgery Certificate so plenty of opportunity to learn so much from your colleagues.
Step into a supportive start
Our Vets work 40 hours per week over 4 days. They cover at least 1 late shift per week to cover in-patients and also cover weekends and BH's on a rota basis.
We have a very enthusiastic Clinical Lead joining our team who will guide you through your graduate program and is keen to support and develop new graduates and junior members of the team. We are 1st opinion, but do see a varied caseload, which you will have opportunity to be fully involved with throughout their course of treatment, whether this be surgery here onsite or a full work up for referral. We are very used to having graduates here at the hospital so know how to support you along the way!
You will have access to our practice car for business use.
