Sales Administrator We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company based in Basingstoke for a Sales Administrator. Introduction Our client are looking for a proactive person with some office skills, who is either keen to join the sales world with a great training plan, or someone that has some sales administration experience already who wants to progress their skills. The Sales Administrator will be responsible for the processing of external customer orders / shipments, and general enquiries. Key Responsibilities Placing sales orders onto the system. Support direct sales from order receipt to shipment. Ensure payments are received quickly, and in turn, the shipment is sent by the required date. Taking inbound calls into the office and distributing to the right channels. Dealing with purchase orders. Liaising with suppliers to ensure on time delivery of the products (by agreed required dates). Manage the logistical process for all modification orders, from order entry to delivery by acknowledged date. Dealing with customer enquiries. Liaise with the warehouse team to ensure products are ready for shipment. Visit customers and exhibitions when required. As the role progresses, to be included in proactive sales by following up enquiries, quotes and working on various sales projects.
