Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Assistant role is initially a 12 month contract and will offer Hybrid working-3 days in Stockport office/2 remote. Reporting to the AR Manager key responsibilities will include:
3. Working closely with the team on daily transactional cash application and collections activities.
4. Reviewing activities for completion and sharing best practice, identifying process improvements and implementing change where required.
5. Proactively using internal reporting to review unallocated and unposted payments across multiple bank accounts to ensure clean ledgers, minimal value of payments on account and ensure debt is cleared where possible.
6. Monitoring month end activities to ensure completion and that collections opportunities are maximised.
7. Analysing aged debt, dispute and POA reports to identify areas of focus for the cash application and collections teams and assisting with the prioritisation of activities.
The Successful Applicant
In order to apply for the role you should:
8. Have previous experience in Accounts Receivable/Sales Ledger or Credit Control
9. Be available to consider a 12 month contract initially
10. Be able to commute 3 days per week to Stockport office
