An exciting opportunity has arisen within the quality team who are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance and Improvement Facilitator to facilitate Quality assurance and Quality improvement activities across the trust. The role is diverse and will encompass working across both directorates (Mental Health, Learning Disability, Specialist Services and Adults, Children’s and Ambulatory Services).
The post holder will be based at St Mary’s Hospital, Kettering and will be expected to travel to sites across Northamptonshire.
There are opportunities to further develop your QI knowledge and skills through training and experienced based learning supported by a positive learning environment. The successful candidate will either be trained or willing to train as a Quality Service Improvement and Redesign-Practitioner (QSIR-P) (This course can be facilitated and supported).
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for data collection and analysis, assisting with the production of key reports and documents providing assurance to the organisation, internal directorates, service teams, and external stakeholders. There will be a requirement to attend meetings representing the quality team.
The quality team undertake service visits, this role will be involved with the organisation, preparation, participation and report generation following the visit.
The successful candidate will have oversight of Quality Improvement (QI) projects. This will involve monitoring progress of the QI Projects, overseeing and implementing action plans, preparing reports and presenting findings. The role will also require the successful candidate to be an expert link with departments across the organisation who are undertaking QI projects.
The role requires the successful candidate to have:
* Excellent communication skills enabling them to work collaboratively across the organisation. Be a team player who is flexible, resourceful and able to work independently, with confidence in their quality improvement ability and able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Assist in all aspects of quality improvement, including the collation of national and local data, data entry into internal and external systems and undertaking ah-hoc analysis of data as required for reporting purposes.
