We are looking for an established Risk Analyst who can hit the ground running and make an impact in implementing risk management procedures whilst working closely with all members of the project team to identify, assess, mitigate and monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle. in sectors such as Water, Defence, and Transport on some of the most exciting projects in the UK As a Risk Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of unravelling complex challenges and utilizing cutting-edge methodologies to mitigate risks on large-scale construction projects in sectors such as Water, Defence, and Transport. What you will contribute to the team: Managing the risk database Undertaking cost and schedule risk analysis Analysing and reporting the likelihood of success for project schedules linking risk and uncertainty to the tasks to be undertaken Facilitating the escalation of information on risks to the appropriate levels Supporting the knowledge sharing of risks and opportunities across the portfolio of projects ensuring that lessons are learnt Producing risk reports on risk by using risk software Required for the position of Risk Analyst; Due to such a large pipeline of work in the Specialist portfolio, it is essential that applicants in this role have a proven track record working as a Risk Analyst in an engineering environment. This can be working with a client, consultancy, or contractor in sectors such as highways, defence, energy, rail, aviation, water, environmental, oil, nuclear, and similar industries which see professionals working on construction projects. As a Risk professional we expect you to have: Degree in a risk, project management, engineering, mathematics or related disciplines. Experience in the construction industry or project environment Good IT skills including Microsoft Office package and Risk Management software (ARM, Predict, Primavera, Pertmaster, Safran, Risk) Project Controls experience Experience in schedule risk analysis Knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4 Preferred, but not required Industry recognised risk qualification Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Ability to work as part of a team or on your own Effective time management Good presentation skills - written and oral High attention to detail If you meet 80% or more of what we're looking for, please still apply.
