We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic
Assistant Headteacher
(Curriculum, Maths and English including Reading and Phonics)
Salary Range: L8-12 (£56,082-£61,882)
Shenstone Lodge School is a split site Special School, which aims to provide outstanding education and support for primary and secondary age students who experience social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.
The successful candidate will be based at Shenstone Lodge School WS14 0LB. The site caters for a growing cohort of primary aged students with SEMH needs. All students have an EHCP.
If you are:
* A passionate and motivational senior leader with high expectations for student achievement
* An experienced and successful Maths or English/ Reading/ Phonics subject leader in a primary school setting
* An outstanding practitioner who acts as an inspirational role model, setting high expectations for all staff
* Confident in developing and sustaining an effective, broad and purposeful curriculum
* Determined to ensure that students in our school are able to leave with high aspirations and the skills required for a successful transition
* Unrelenting and innovative when addressing challenging behaviour
* Able to work effectively with a wide range of agencies and stakeholders

* A proven track record of managing, motivating and supporting SEMH students and the staff that work with them to produce exceptional results
* An emotionally intelligent and resilient personality
