Technical Support and Documentation Officer
The Role
We are looking for a technical support officer to join a busy implementations team in a brand new and exciting role. The successful candidate will support development, helpdesk, and project teams in technical aspects, including testing processes, creating accompanying documentation, and reviewing issues. They must be able to work independently and possess excellent communication skills. A logical, careful, and consistent approach with an eye for detail is essential. Full training will be provided, including shadowing other team members.
Our Client
A Yorkshire-based business, our Client develops and supplies software and hardware solutions to local authorities and waste management operators in the UK. They are the market leader, providing innovative software for frontline municipal services such as waste and recycling, environment, street scene, and highways.
Main Duties:
1. Write or review testing documentation
2. Carry out testing and document results
3. Liaise with developers on issues found
4. Create customer-friendly documentation and process diagrams
5. Provide 3rd line support on helpdesk cases
The Ideal Candidate Will Require:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. Strong attention to detail
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
4. Self-motivation and the ability to work under own initiative and pressure
5. Previous testing or project office experience will be an advantage
This role may be suitable for flexible working hours.

2. Experience using Monday project management platform
