The last few years has seen Linaker grow exponentially and with this growth continuing into 2025 we are looking foran experienced Bid Manager to join our Sales Team. ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bid Manager with a strong background in Facilities Management to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, winning proposals that align with our strategic goals. What you will be responsible for • Lead and manage the entire bid process from initial opportunity identification to submission. • Develop and implement bid strategies that align with company objectives and client requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to gather necessary information and insights. • Write, edit, and review bid content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with client specifications. • Manage bid timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and submissions are of the highest quality. • Conduct post-bid reviews and analysis to identify areas for improvement and share best practices. • Implement all procedures and processes in line with the corporate governance and delegated authority requirements. • Manage customer communication during the bid process, including raising CQs, internal updates and co-ordinating presentations. • Maintain a comprehensive bid library and database of past proposals and relevant documentation. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. What we are looking for • A vibrant and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment. • A positive attitude and ability to collaborate seamlessly with others. • Proven experience as a Bid Manager, preferably within the Hard FM sector. • Strong understanding of private sector procurement practices. • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
