The Box Office Coordinator for Scullers Jazz Club at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Boston-Cambridge is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Artistic Director in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing?
As a Box Office Coordinator for Scullers Jazz Club, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Artistic Director. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
* Greet and assist guests and respond to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
* Manage operations of the Box Office
* Liaison with Artistic Director, Production Manager, and hotel staff (including Food & Beverage) to ensure all Scullers shows run smoothly
* Prepare nightly will call lists, settlement sheets, and special requests for hand off to the appropriate person
* Customer liaison to assist all guests with any questions/issues related to ticket purchases and general information about Scullers
* Assist customers with jazz package hotel reservations
* Perform word-processing, typing, emailing, data-entry, filing, faxing, copying, processing mail, and taking notes and/or dictation
* Answer telephones
* Perform other general office duties and assist with special projects, as needed
* Assist with seating customers on show nights
* Must be able to work nights on Friday and Saturday
* Experience with TicketWeb ticketing system preferred, but training can be provided
* Social media and general marketing to promote the jazz club and shows is preferred
