As a Staff Nurse you will be providing care in a 15 bedded nurse led unit, with patient needs ranging from post-fracture rehabilitation, medical diagnoses and treatments through to palliative care. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team and be supported by local doctors 3 days per week and our ANP 5 days a week. The hospital has different departments with different patient groups, including Minor Injuries, Outpatients, Radiology Imaging and Day Surgery.

We are an inclusive active team with days out and a lively team chat group. For those who are newly qualified, we provide a very comprehensive and fully supported Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified healthcare professionals.
The Staff Nurse post is a full-time role, we would be flexible and welcome part time applications with a minimum of 30 hours which can be discussed at interview. Shifts listed below:
1. Long Day - 07.30 – 20.30
2. Nights – 20.15 – 07.45
3. Weekend and public holidays at enhanced pay!

You will need to have an interest in working with older people and have good communication and organisational skills.
