Purpose of the Role: The Calibration Technician will play a vital role in providing comprehensive calibration and instrumentation expertise. Initially, the role involves collaborating with the principal contractor, creating documentation, and supporting the client with Calibration and Instrumentation requirements. Once the client campus is fully operational, the focus will shift to day-to-day service delivery, ensuring the maintenance of critical test equipment, coordinating with third-party suppliers, and optimizing system availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Calibration Services: Deliver comprehensive Control and Instrumentation services across the entire site.
Procedure Development: Create and maintain site calibration procedures and maintenance plans.
Equipment Tolerances: Define equipment tolerances for plant systems.
Workspace Planning: Identify required test equipment and space needs for calibration work.
Planned Maintenance: Ensure maximum availability of plant and user equipment through effective planned maintenance.
Technical Support: Provide technical expertise for projects, commissioning, and handover activities.
Calibration Execution: Perform planned preventative maintenance and client-requested calibrations.
Fault Diagnosis: Identify and resolve field instrument issues, including planning and completing remedial work.
