Advanced Clinical Pharmacist - Women and Children
Band 8a
37.5 hours per week
We are looking for a motivated pharmacist to provide clinical pharmacy services at United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen to join our expanding, friendly, diverse and inclusive pharmacy team.
As an advanced clinical pharmacist for women and children you will be expected to review and develop policies and produce medicines optimisation reports to present at monthly divisional meetings – being accountable for either women or children. You will also be expected to provide line management and support to our junior pharmacist team and pharmacy students.

Skills
* Evidence of CPD
* Excellent clinical pharmaceutical knowledge of Medical specialities.
* Computer literacy in word processing and spreadsheets
* Good written, including reporting, and verbal communication skills
* Ability to plan and co-ordinate own work and that of others (time management)
* Good interpersonal skills including persuasion to influence prescribing
* Genuine care and concern for staff and patient welfare
* Flexibility
* Ability to travel between sites and for On-call duties
* Ability to be flexible with length of working day to meet needs of service
Experience
* Significant specialist medical knowledge acquired through training and experience
* Medicines Management experience gained in a Hospital environment across a range of specialities.
* Mentoring and/or teaching experience
Qualifications
* Registration as a Pharmacist with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Postgraduate Clinical Diploma and/or equivalent experience
* Some Supervisory experience
* Prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake training to achieve prescribing qualification
* Some management training
