Job summary
We are looking for a Health and Wellbeing Service Co-ordinator to join the HMP Berwyn Health and Wellbeing team providing expert co-ordination to ensure the smooth running of the Health and Wellbeing team on a daily basis.
Main duties of the job
Key aspects of this post include co-ordinating and overseeing the smooth running of the Health and Wellbeing service on a daily basis to ensure the safe care and treatment of men at HMP Berwyn. The post holder will work closely with the leadership team in managing established shift patterns and leave arrangements, as well as monitoring the shift patterns on a regular basis to ensure the required level of service is maintained. The post holder will have responsibility for producing daily duty rosters for staff which reflect a balanced skills mix of staff and for the preparation and delivery of a daily safety briefing to all staff on duty.
The successful candidate will use independent judgment and will be responsible for the daily operational management and delegation of duties across the Health and Wellbeing team at HMP Berwyn.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
