Job Title: KS1 Teacher Location: North West England, Lancashire, Chorley Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours Salary: £130 - £150 per day Job Duties: The KS1 Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 students. They will create a positive learning environment, assess student progress, and provide feedback to support their development. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the best educational outcomes for students. Required Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Enhanced DBS check. Education: A degree in education or relevant subject. Experience: Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students, knowledge of the national curriculum, and experience in assessing student progress. Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of child development, excellent communication and organisational skills, ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, and proficiency in using educational technology. Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or experience working with diverse student populations. Working Conditions: The KS1 Teacher will work in a classroom setting within a primary school. They may need to attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and training sessions outside of regular school hours.
