Job Description Job Title: MRPC Planner – OE/MRO Working Pattern: Full Time Working location: Bristol An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planner role within the Defence Manufacturing OE/MRO team. The role will be based across both the RepairWorks and LiftWorks facilities within the Manufacturing business. As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in an integrated operations team, planning and executing the delivery of critical customer requirements. What you will be doing Create and maintain output plans which are aligned with supply chain commitments to schedule and prioritise work through the value stream. Accountable for ensuring the 4 Weekly Planning Process is adhered to, ensuring Load and Capacity is Balanced Internally. To ensure Delivery Plans are maintained for the medium/ long term in the available executive system. Governance of ERP Compliance and Inventory Planning & Forecasting. Undertake scenario planning of long-term business requirements using What-If/Production Planner tools ensuring manning levels and machine capacities can match future year loads/arrear reductions. Ensure that any supply chain or capacity risks which have the potential to impact on delivery are identified, prioritised, and escalated where required. Work closely with all operations functions (MEs, QEs, PLs) to ensure plans are achieved and the business operates smoothly. Be the voice of operations into other areas of the business (i.e., Programmes, procurement, and shipping) to ensure that Bristol output and input plans are aligned and delivered on time. For the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) support the creation of defined Scheduling Scenarios, assess the Load & Capacity Balance using the RR Production System Workbook as well as the Customer and Inventory impacts. Review with cross functional teams (Engineering/Operations) taking into account the known risks before enacting the SIOP response.
