This leadership role will focus on leading a team to advance sales execution, build impactful relationships with our clients and strengthen Moneycorp’s market positioning across Foreign Exchange treasury solutions. Role Responsibilities: Strategic Sector Leadership Ø Develop, implement, and own a sector-specific growth strategy, aligned with broader business objectives, to enhance Moneycorp’s market position in the Technology & Healthcare sectors. Ø Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities, key industry challenges, and strategic trends within the sector. Ø Drive alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure the sector strategy is integrated with the company’s goals and optimized for business impact. New Business Generation & Relationship Building Ø Proactively drive new business acquisition through targeted prospecting, networking, and relationship-building within the sector. Ø Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, decision-makers, and potential partners to maximize Moneycorp’s visibility and influence. Ø Leverage sector knowledge to tailor solutions, maximize cross-selling opportunities, and build long-term client loyalty. Team Leadership & Development Ø Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mid- to junior-level sales professionals, promoting a high-performance culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ø Coach and guide the team on consultative selling techniques, enabling them to deeply understand client needs, identify key pain points, and position solutions effectively to maximize customer value. Ø Encourage a data-driven approach to sales, teaching team members to leverage analytics and insights to refine their strategies, optimize performance and improve their closing rates. Ø Set clear performance expectations, provide regular coaching and feedback, and drive individual development plans to support team members’ career growth. Ø Foster an inclusive, results-oriented environment where team members are empowered to take initiative, drive deals forward, and meet their individual and team objectives. Thought Leadership Ø Establish and promote Moneycorp as a trusted leader within the sector by building market presence, delivering industry insights and sharing innovative thought leadership, both internally and with clients. Ø Represent Moneycorp at key industry events, webinars, and roundtables, positioning the brand as a forward- thinking voice in the FX risk management and treasury solutions landscape. Ø Develop and share sector-specific content, insights, and case studies to deepen client relationships and attract potential partners. Sales Execution & Pipeline Management Ø Champion sales excellence by implementing best practices in pipeline management, deal progression, and relationship-building strategies that drive consistent, high-quality customer engagements. Ø Own the end-to-end sales process for the sector, from lead generation and qualification through negotiation, closing, and ongoing account management. Ø Actively manage and coach the sales team’s pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely follow-ups, and effective deal progression. Ø Drive and oversee the sales cycle to secure new deals and maximize revenue by identifying, cultivating, and closing high-value opportunities within the sector. Ø Work collaboratively with marketing, product, and operations teams to align resources, optimize client solutions, and achieve sales targets. Risk and Credit Management Ø Proactively own all risk and credit limit discussions to ensure sector-level deals align with company risk parameters and contribute to sustainable growth. Ø Assess and mitigate potential risks in client engagements by maintaining strict oversight of credit limits, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements. Ø Engage with credit, legal, and compliance teams to balance strategic growth opportunities with practical risk management. Experience & Qualifications: Proven senior-level experience (8-10 years minimum) in sales leadership within Foreign Exchange, Payments, Fintech, or Financial Services. Required BSC or university degree. Expertise working with clients in the Technology & Healthcare sectors. Advanced understanding of foreign exchange, treasury, and risk management solutions, including experience with FX hedging, forwards, and options. Strong background in navigating complex sales cycles within global markets. With exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence senior stakeholders. Strong knowledge of credit and risk management practices, with the ability to evaluate creditworthiness and manage exposure. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives within a specific sector. Experience in building and leading high-performing teams, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proven ability to foster and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, clients, and partners. This position is full-time, permanent. The role is expected to be office-based in London as part of the UK International Payments team.
