What we're looking for
Passionate about unlocking organisational potential and capability through people, you will be central to establishing a culture of learning that drives employee performance aligned to LR's growth ambitions. You will support, drive and role model employee capability building in collaboration with various key organisational stakeholders, acting as the COE expert.

* Hybrid with a mix of remote and indicatively 2 days per week at 71 Fenchurch Street, London.
The role
* Enabling employee career development through relevant learning initiatives.
* Leveraging the organisation's learning technology and resources to create opportunities for learning relevant to organizational need.
* Leading the organisation's approach to apprenticeships.
* Owning learning design best practice guidelines.
* Leading the learning design team as line manager to 2 direct reports providing leadership, coaching, and support where needed.
* Supporting the thinking around the learning technology roadmap.
* Support Lloyd Registers career development portal on an ongoing basis focused on continuous improvement and development of resources.
* Supporting the senior learning designer and learning designer on business engagement with priority design projects.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, in line with branding and quality standards.
* Working closely with external suppliers where needed to deliver key projects.
* Eliminate or minimise employee's exposure to risks by reviewing, regularly, the health and safety risk register, applying appropriate controls, communicating results of risk assessment and ensuring health and safety is considered in the planning and execution of all LR activities.
* Manage your own and your team's compliance with health and safety rules, instructions, systems and legal requirements, ensuring employees are suitably trained and adequate resources are available to work safely.
What you bring
* Experience of leading significant elements / all the learning agenda for a medium sized organisation.
* Experience of working in a global organisation with global stakeholders.
* Knowledge of learning design.
* Line management experience.
* Experience of operating in a COE model.
