Grade 2 - £11.79 per hour
Cardinal Griffin Catholic College is seeking to increase the team of casual exam invigilators to cover the exam periods throughout the academic year. The post is on a casual basis invigilating A levels, GCSE exams and helping to support students through the provision, supervision and monitoring of internal and external exams.
We are now part of the newly expanded Painsley Catholic Academy, the largest multi-academy in the Archdiocese of Birmingham, with a strong Catholic ethos that puts ‘love’ at the heart of its community. The school provides a safe haven for all to flourish.
About the role:
An ideal candidate will be flexible, have effective communication skills and be confident in the presence of pupils. Working hours will vary but will be agreed ahead of the exam period, which falls during term time. You will work as part of a team, ensuring that our pupils comply with the necessary exam procedures and regulations.
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, but it is not essential.
Candidates should have:
* A good standard of education, including literacy and numeracy.
* Excellent communication skills.
* The ability to relate to a wide range of personalities.
* Willingness to undertake direction and guidance.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
