Job Description AECOM‘s Major Pursuits Team Europe (MPTE) manages the region’s most strategic, complex tender submissions across established and emerging markets. Bringing together strategy, positioning, bid management, co-ordination and knowledge professionals – and though a culture of collaboration and sharing - the MPTE creates a focus for major pursuits and a centre for learning and excellence. Its role is to: prepare and respond to the prospect pipeline; run strategy and positioning activities, manage and lead the creation and production of winning submissions; and drive work winning improvements and best practice across all sectors. Our Graduate Bid Coordinators will have the opportunity to work on an exciting pipeline of projects, including AECOM’s most strategically important pursuits. You will generally support the Bid Coordinator, Bid Manager or Associate Bid Director leading the pursuit, having identified, read and understood strategy material and client requirements. You will develop bid programmes, coordinate inputs from subject matter experts and track progress against tasks and individuals for reporting to the Bid Coordinator, Manager or Associate Director. The role covers the full procurement lifecycle including EOIs, PQQs and proposals. An important part of this role is liaison with our Knowledge Management team in the bid close-out stage. A keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task are key. Aside from supporting bids, the role offers opportunities to engage in general Work Winning best practice, supporting the MPTE to develop processes, tools and guides around bidding. The Graduate Bid Coordinator works effectively in a challenging and dynamic environment, working to tight timescales and completing tasks on time and to the expected high standard. The role offers the opportunity to build professional credibility and long-term relationships, so a self-motivated, collaborative approach is beneficial. Minimum Requirements : Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with experience of coordinating projects or tasks with multiple stakeholders, reviewers and contributors An eye for detail, not accepting second best and taking personal pride and responsibility for all aspects within their control A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint A flexible approach to supporting bids and business development activities across the region, including travel where required to co-locate with bid teams The ability to work professionally and collaboratively and build credibility with colleagues The ability to work collaboratively with internal clients and to tactfully but effectively chase others for contributions as needed A methodical approach to assisting in the administration and production of bids The ability to work positively under pressure and deliver quality output to deadlines The drive to improve and adhere to processes / systems and the motivation to contribute to and support bid teams An experienced and efficient multi-tasker
