We are looking for a highly motivated, committed, and service-focused individual to work with other team members to manage our Facilities Services. In this role, you will support the department in maintaining hygiene standards for our site working within the National Cleaning Standards Framework.
The successful candidate must have previous cleaning experience and have worked in a similar setting. Supervisory/people management experience is preferred but not essential. Candidates must be willing to work towards a relevant NVQ in Cleaning and a qualification in Team Leading.
The successful candidate will be flexible to cover the demands of the service and be able to adapt to changes within the department and have the ability and initiative to learn new skills, work independently, be trustworthy, reliable, and be able to prioritise workload.
Flexibility within this role is essential as it will involve covering for other members of the team. All training will be given to meet the requirements of the post.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Domestic staff, including wards and general areas whilst working within budgeted hours to achieve the required standards.
Be able to manage and lead a deep cleaning programme across the Trust site. Carry out cleaning audits and maintain a star rating for cleanliness.
Working as part of a team but must possess the ability to work individually under demanding circumstances.
