The salary range for this role is £47,847 to £51,436 per annum based on a 37 hour working week.

About the Role
Are you looking to take your next step up the management ladder? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Nescot as a Head of Curriculum for English, Maths & ESOL. We are looking to appoint an experienced person to lead, manage, and develop our English, Maths & ESOL provision, as well as promoting and disseminating excellent teaching and effective learning across the areas that you will be managing.
Joining our renewed management and leadership team, you will lead and support your curriculum coordinators and staff in our well-established English, Maths, and ESOL provision, ensuring that students get a first-class experience in the classroom and that the curriculum is fit for the future.
You will work with your staff and be responsible for championing teaching, learning, and assessment practices, including innovative online teaching, IQA work, mentoring curriculum colleagues, and liaising with the quality and innovation team to ensure that students develop their English and Maths skills to fulfil future employment opportunities.
You should have excellent communication skills and innovative ideas about the development of curriculum for this strategic area of growth for education and jobs. In partnership with your team and the Vice Principal: Curriculum, you will ensure an innovative and high-quality provision and delivery of quality face-to-face and online learning to all learners and promote high standards of teaching.
