As a Nursery Practitioner, your main responsibilities will include:
* Planning and implementing activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the nursery
* Providing a safe and secure environment for the children
* Observing, assessing, and recording each child's progress
* Working in partnership with parents and carers
* Supporting the development of children's basic skills, including physical coordination, speech, and communication
Applicants for this role must have:
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
* DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a nursery setting
* Understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Strong organisational skills
* First aid training is desirable
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Paediatric First Aid
* Experience working with children with special educational needs
This role involves working with children aged 0-5 years in a nursery setting. The position is temporary and requires full-time hours. The work environment may be noisy and require physical activity.
