Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
1. We are 3 individuals with support needs, our ages range from 49 to 65.
2. We are quite independent but do require support in certain areas due to having a learning disability.
3. We have staff who are all trained and familiar with supporting someone with similar needs.
What is important to us?
1. We are very proud of our home and love to keep it clean, tidy, and modern.
2. We all enjoy being outdoors, we enjoy long walks, days out in Southport, Blackpool, North Wales, pretty much anywhere as long as we are outside.
3. We have a car and enjoy long drives to nice places.
4. We like to go to bowling, cinema, golf, gym, football, snooker, and disco nights and evening activity clubs.
5. We enjoy cooking, baking, listening to music, and relaxed nights watching the soaps and the football on our Sky TV.
6. We like staff who are active and enjoy getting involved in all these activities.
7. We are 3 fun, kind, caring, considerate individuals who are very interested in your home life.
Other important information:
1. There are between 1-3 staff on shift daily depending on what is planned, we have and our 1-1 hours.
2. We have a staff member on a long day sleep 08.00 am till 22.00 pm sleep until 8 am the next morning then flexi shifts throughout the day for our one-to-one activity hours.
3. We need staff who are fully trained to meet our needs, we need staff who are active and enjoy all our activities for us to live our best lives possible.
