Field Vehicle Inspections - Team Leader Field based role with a base in Solihull Salary - £33,000 per annum Company Car To supervise the Field Inspectors and carry out vehicle inspections as per the business and customers’ requirements. Main Responsibility Supervise current Field Inspectors including approval of holidays, sickness and arranging coverage as appropriate. Inspect vehicles to defined customer standards, using a variety of inspection platforms. Carry out regular 1-2-1s with each of the Field Inspectors. Has the ability to undertake, organise and carry out inspections on a day-to-day basis. Ensure all Field Inspectors have sufficient equipment to carry out inspections. Order uniform as required for the Field Inspectors. Communicate specific inspections and rules relating to special inspections. Montor, feedback and improve inspections quality for each of the Field Inspectors. Liaise closely with site / compound personnel and maintain regular contact with your line manager. Remain up to date on customer inspection process and standards. Take all reasonable care and responsibility of vehicles in your custody, reporting immediately any accidents or incidents to your line manager. Ensure that all operations are carried out within Health and Safety guidelines. Carry out other duties as requested by line manager. Additional Information: This will be a role based at the Birmingham Head Office on a 2 day per week hybrid basis. Key Abilities Vehicle damage identification. Knowledge of appropriate repair method selection would be preferred but not essential. Previous supervisory experience in an Inspections capacity.
