Job Title: First Line Support
About the Role:
Code Wizards, a global leader in Game Tech and Esport Tech, is seeking talented engineers to join our UK operations team. We work on a wide range of projects, from small indie titles to AAA console/PC games.
Main Responsibilities:
* Owning all customer interactions across tickets and Slack, responding within Service Level Agreements (SLA)
* Managing time-critical situations, such as incidents and outages, and escalating when necessary
* Working as part of a shift pattern, contributing to a team of skilled engineers
Requirements:
* Experience with cloud services in a customer-facing technical support capacity, potentially including AWS or Azure
* Skills in managing Linux virtual machines, including SSH, network troubleshooting, and log debugging
* Experience working with SaaS platforms, including API requests, troubleshooting, and debugging
Bonus Attributes:
* A keen interest in programming or working on personal code-based projects
* Experience in the gaming industry, preferably in backend systems for online games
* Knowledge of game engines, such as Unity or Unreal
