Insight Global are looking for a Business System Analyst for one of our leading financial services client. They are looking for someone who has experience in building front end application functionalities based on data, with experience working around customer risk management applications.
This role is hybrid with some loose expectation to travel into the Manchester office at least 1x per week. This position is initially a 9-month contract with the intent to convert this position to a full time employee after successful completion of the contract.
Responsibilities:
• Helping to collaborate on the assembly of a new product, producing a multi-tier risk visibility platform which utilises an existing 3rd party risk management platform and a supply chain platform.
• Working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirement & create user stories, achieving integration work between the two platforms.
• Creating documents and user workflows, utilising a shared workspace such as Miro.
• Assisting and testing in collaboration with the QA team.
• Collaborating with the scrum team and lead Developers changes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree (Technical degree preferred such as computer science or equivalent)
• Experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA)
• Experience with gathering and writing API requirements producing API integrations with experience utilising Postman (testing/responding to API's).
• Very comfortable being part of the decision work flows with API integrations.
• Database experience including SQL querying and PowerBI or Tableau dashboards/ Reports
• Strong Stakeholder management (Functional and Technical teams)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum
• Must have experience with Jira, Miro, and Visio (user stories, flow diagrams, wireframing, etc)
Plusses:
• Product experience which must be within Web Applications including front-end application development, functionality based.
• Experience with Supply Chain products
• Acquainted with Financial Spreading tools to help create/ understand how a data pipeline/ entitlement works when interacting with a web application.
