Our Client is looking for a skilled Estimator to produce accurate cost estimates for structural steelwork and subcontracted works. This role involves evaluating project expenses, preparing budgets, and ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:


* Determine material, labour, and equipment costs.
* Review and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes.
* Input data into estimating software.
* Ensure projects are financially viable and competitive.
* Work closely with technical teams.
* Communicate with clients, consultants, and quantity surveyors.
* Manage and coordinate tender enquiries.
* Prepare and oversee tender documentation and correspondence.
* Gather and share project feedback.
* Attend meetings with prospective clients across the UK when necessary.


Skills & Experience Required:


* Strong numerical skills and proficiency in IT.
* Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
* Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal.
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
