Role Overview:
As a Care Assistant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, individualized care to our clients. You will assist with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship. Your compassionate nature will ensure that clients feel supported and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care to clients, including dressing, bathing, and grooming.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
Help with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and shopping.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
Administer medication as per care plans and guidelines.
Record and report any changes in the client’s health or behavior.
Follow care plans and procedures, ensuring that clients’ needs are met with dignity and respect.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential.
A compassionate and empathetic nature.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays .
