Liverpool’s Practice Academy are looking for a Children’s Workforce Academy Lead. The successful candidate will be an experienced and registered children’s Social Worker and must be a Practice Educator. You must have strong experience in Children’s Service, having previously managed and supervised Social Workers. This is a great development opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities as a Children’s Workforce Academy Lead:
* The role will support the Head of Service of Workforce Development and Learning
* Have good understanding in workforce development and training
* Supporting and leading Workforce Development from a practice perspective across Children’s Services
* Provide leadership to all Practice Development Officers and Workforce Coordinators in the team
* Recruit, induct and train team members
* Develop and deliver robust training programmes across the workforce i.e. ASYE / Apprenticeships / Step-up’s
* Coordinate, plan, design and evaluate training opportunities for all learners
What we are looking for as a Children’s Workforce Academy Lead:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK license
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
* Practice Educators Award
