Job Advert: M&E Estimator (Mechanical Bias)

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

We are seeking an experienced M&E Estimator with a mechanical bias and a strong background in working on electrical tenders to join our team. This role is based in Sidcup, with the office relocating to Greenwich in the coming weeks, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for both mechanical and electrical projects.
* Analyse project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to deliver detailed cost estimates.
* Manage the tender process from initial enquiry through to final submission.
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure accurate pricing.
* Work closely with the project and commercial teams to ensure tenders align with the company’s objectives.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, materials, and labour costs.
* Attend site visits, pre-tender, and post-tender meetings as required.
Requirements:
* Mechanical bias with experience in electrical tendering is essential.
* Proven track record as an M&E Estimator, ideally with 5+ years’ experience.
* Strong understanding of M&E services and installation techniques.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
