The Finance Director and Finance Manager are looking for someone to join the team who can support on a wide variety of tasks. If you read this and it sounds like your ideal job — we want you on the team What You’ll Be Doing The following should give you an idea of how you will be spending yourtime. It is not set in stone and it may change from week-to-week, but it gives an idea of what is expected from the role: Commercial Reporting Working alongside key members of the operations team, you will lead the monthly reporting of: ● Team utilisation and capacity reports ● Client and team profitability and recoverability ● Ad hoc commercial reports Management Accounts Each month/quarter you will: ● Reconcile the revenue following monthly client lead calls ● Post accruals and prepayments ● Reconcile the balance sheet accounts ● Prepare to trial balance including profit & loss and balance sheet ● Preparation of the month end management accounts with commentary ● Reconciliation of quarterly reporting ● Analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures, identifying key drivers. ● Review of the quarterly VAT return for submission to HMRC Budgeting & forecasting ● Support in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with other finance members and other key members of the team ● Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing timely feedback. ● Assist in financial planning processes by offering insights into key revenue and cost drivers.
