As a Management Accountant, you will prepare monthly management accounts, reports, and variance analysis, as well as perform bank reconciliations, VAT returns, sales reporting and analysis, annual audit/tax pack requirements, and other ad-hoc finance tasks as needed. Responsibilities : Prepare month-end journals and analyze P&L accounts. Compile Monthly Reporting Packs (MRP) with commentary on key variances. Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and raise concerns. Perform daily sales and bank reconciliations. Maintain the fixed asset register. Complete quarterly VAT returns. Reconcile intercompany accounts. Follow Standard Operating Processes (SOPs). Assist with purchase ledger as required. Monitor debtors ledger and escalate issues. Assist with annual/biannual stock takes. Allocate cash receipts on cashier accounts. Complete ‘Office for National Statistics’ questionnaires. Conduct sales reporting and analysis. Contribute to annual business planning. Support year-end audits and external Finance consultants. Requirements : Minimum two years' experience in a similar role. ACCA/CIMA (part qualified). Excellent Excel and IT skills. Experience with Sage 200 (desirable). Strong interpersonal and time management skills. Quick learner, self-motivated, multitasker, hardworking, enthusiastic, and a team player.
