Role: Senior French ESG Consultant Location: London (Hybrid) Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 (Depending on Experience) Company Benefits Languages: English and French (Both at professional level) Our client is seeking a Senior French ESG Consultant to join their expanding consultancy, working across various industry sectors, primarily with private equity clients. Job Description: As a Senior French ESG Consultant, you will collaborate with board members and senior management of new and existing clients to help them understand and document their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. You will guide them on their journey to Net Zero, culminating in the production of an annual ESG Impact Report to be shared with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Consultation and Documentation: Work with senior management to document ESG practices and map the journey to Net Zero, culminating in an annual ESG Impact Report. Revenue Generation: Conduct ESG maturity assessments, due diligence for private equity clients, and generate consulting revenues. Net Zero Strategy: Review Net Zero baseline calculations, create carbon reduction plans, and develop TCFD-aligned climate risk strategies. ESG Benchmarking: Score and benchmark clients on ESG metrics, providing actionable plans for long-term value creation. Team Management: Lead and manage a small team of 3-4 ESG Consultants. Qualifications and Attributes: Consultancy Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Environmental, Social, or Governance aspects of Sustainability within a business consulting environment. Passion for ESG: Demonstrated passion for Net Zero, ESG, or Sustainability initiatives. Consulting Proficiency: Experience working in a consultancy business is highly advantageous. Strong Writing Skills: Enjoy writing detailed reports and documentation, as this is a significant part of the role. Decarbonisation Expertise: Strong knowledge of decarbonisation and Net Zero strategy/advisory, including carbon management. Investor Reporting: Experience with investor reporting, including TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures).
