Willmott Dixon is recruiting a Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our central Strategic Accounts and Services Team (SAS). The successful applicant will be responsible for contributing to and implementing supply chain strategies across Willmott Dixon Construction.
Reporting to the National Head of Supply Chain, you will work alongside other Supply Chain Managers and will be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver value through improving efficiency and driving out waste across our supply chain partners.
This position will work closely with other members of the SAS Team to create and implement an aligned supply chain strategy for our schools design platform. A reasonable understanding of the Department of Education Construction Framework and its commercials would be beneficial as would any work done previously on aligned supply chains.
You will also be required to collaborate with WD’s regional teams: internal pre-construction and operations departments across England and Wales. For this reason, you must be an effective communicator and be able to build effective long-term relationships both within and outside the company. Expert knowledge of current market conditions is essential, as well as a desire to innovate.
Willmott Dixon supports hybrid working and this role will support projects based nationally so you should be prepared to undertake national travel as needed. The SAS/Collida team are based in our Hitchin office so there will be a need for you to travel to this location to attend regular team meetings but you will also be supported to work from home.
In return we provide to you a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, the opportunities for you to develop your career with Willmott Dixon and the training to make this happen - but most importantly a great place to work with a true family ethos!
