Sales Manager We are working alongside an innovative and forward-thinking engineering firm that provides cutting-edge solutions to a diverse, global customer base. This role, headquartered in Omagh, offers the unique opportunity to engage directly with international markets, necessitating regular travel to key assigned territories. The successful candidate will work alongside the existing sales and aftersales teams, and be responsible for all aspects of the sales process. The Sales Manager will be responsible for: Working with assigned Dealers in the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area. Ensuring that the organisations growth targets for a new and existing production range are met Maintaining current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment and attending relevant sales training events. Carrying out ongoing research of the market and business activity and identify new opportunities for current and future products. Driving a pipeline of sales opportunities by maintaining a high level of customer engagement and activity with regular site visits and phone contact with existing and prospective customers. To receive feedback on existing products and services, as well as changes, enhancements and new products and convey information to engineering and marketing team members for research and consideration. Ensure that Dealer and end user customer satisfaction levels are established and builds strong relationships with customers Brand promotion and development of new business opportunities Utilising the company CRM system to manage your schedule and activity and to record customer interactions and opportunities. Contributing to reporting and forecasts of sales activity against sales plans. What you will need to have for the Sales Manager role: Direct experience of managing Dealer accounts Professional level practical knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing and sales Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. Strong computer skills familiar with sales tools, Excel CRM systems, etc Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Good communication skills, both verbal & written and people skills. A strong focus on providing the best customer service experience with attention to detail. Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines by planning and managing your time and travel efficiently. Ability to work calmly under pressure. Excellent attitude with integrity and honesty Extensive travel will be involved, UK wide to begin with then progressing to Europe.
