The Role As the Head of Asset Management, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of asset management, property compliance, and repairs. Leading a skilled team of asset management professionals, you will ensure that housing regulations are met and that key contracts for building maintenance and safety are effectively managed. Bringing technical, contractual, and strategic expertise, you will shape best practices in construction management, surveying, engineering, and building safety. Your leadership will ensure robust compliance, proactive risk management, and the delivery of a high-performing asset management service that provides safe, well-maintained homes Additionally, you will: - Oversee the procurement and delivery of maintenance services - Lead on property compliance - Monitor and manage the performance of external contractors - Support funding applications and prepare bids for external investment opportunities - Ensure customer service excellence - Oversee estate services About You To be considered as the Head of Asset Management, you will need: - Extensive experience in leading property and asset management services, including maintenance, repairs, and compliance - Experience managing large-scale capital works programmes, responsive repairs, and planned maintenance - Experience managing staff and contractors - Excellent knowledge of housing and building safety legislation, including fire, asbestos, gas, electrical, water safety, and health and safety regulations - Strong budget management skills and experience delivering cost-effective asset strategies - A strategic mindset, with the ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement - A customer-focused approach, ensuring tenants receive high-quality housing services - A relevant building qualification and/or professional membership (RICS, CIOB, IOSH) Closing date: 28th March 2025 Shortlisting: w/c 31st March 2025 Interview date: 15th April 2025 Candidates interested in applying should attach a cover letter outlining how they meet the essential criteria specified in the person specification as well as how they think they meet Housing for Womens EPIC values.
