· Consultant of the week covering the ward and acute assessments.
· Flow shifts (Winter months only)- ambulatory paediatrics.
· Neonatal shifts - covering the ward, post-natal ward and transitional care unit.
· Resident evening shift followed by on call.
· Resident night shifts - with on call consultant at home.
· Safeguarding - covering medicals as requested by social care.
Full GMC registration and specialist registration or within 3 months of CCT or equivalent.
Broad general Paediatric & neonatal training and community paediatric experience.
Some specialist training or experience in respiratory paediatrics.
The ability to work with and lead a team.
The ability to communicate effectively with children, families and professionals involved in the care of the patients.
Experience of teaching both undergraduates and post graduates., Disability Confident
