Public services lecturer

Reed Further Education are working with a college who are seeking two dedicated lecturers in Public Services. These roles are ideal for individuals with a background in public services such as police, fire service, paramedics, or armed services and who possess a relevant degree and teaching qualification.

Job Title: Public Service Lecturer

Position: Part-time, 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday and 14 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday

Role type: Temporary Ongoing

Location: Nantgarw

Salary: £27p/h to £35p/h including holiday pay

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

* Course Planning and Delivery: Responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering public services programs, including creating lesson plans, delivering lectures, and conducting practical sessions.
* Assessment and Feedback: Assess students' work, provide constructive feedback, and track their progress.
* Student Support: Act as a personal tutor, support students' individual learning plans, and liaise with parents and other educators.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Teaching Qualification: Must have a teaching qualification, such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Cert Ed, DET or equivalent.
