Location: Walsall (Hybrid 2 days per week in the office) | Regular travel to London, Spain, Germany & France
Salary: Up to £58,000 + 10% bonus, Car or £5,500 cash allowance, 6% matched pension

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager – EMEA to play a key role in ensuring robust compliance and risk management across our consumer finance operations in Germany, Spain, and France. Acting as the second line of defence, you will provide expert compliance advice, monitoring, and governance support while managing risk and compliance reporting across the business.
You will work closely with the Risk and Compliance Director of Consumer Finance, as well as legal and consumer finance teams across EMEA, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and implement a Risk & Compliance framework for consumer finance activities in Germany, Spain, and France
2. Support first-line management with policy implementation and process design
3. Provide second-line assurance and oversight of compliance and risk management controls
4. Stay up to date with local regulations, legal requirements, and industry standards, offering timely and practical advice
5. Identify and report on emerging risks, compliance issues, and business risks
6. Act as a key liaison between business units and group assurance functions
Who We’re Looking For
1. Proven experience in financial services regulatory compliance within a consumer finance organisation
2. Strong risk management and compliance expertise, with a hands-on approach
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and make decisive recommendations
4. Excellent commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across EMEA regions
6. Fluency in French, Spanish, or German is a plus
