Job summary Chet Valley Medical Practice has an opportunity for a receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis for 24 hours per week plus overtime. This key role is undertake a wide range of reception duties, projecting a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. We are looking for a receptionist to join our busy practice team and help make a positive impact on our local community. We would welcome applications from organised, adaptable, and friendly individuals, who are keen to help us provide high levels of customer service. Main duties of the job Maintaining and monitoring the appointment system. Processing all face-to-face, telephone requests for appointments. Answering incoming calls, transferring or managing requests. Signposting patients to the correct service. Clinically coding data on SystmOne. Data entry and updating patients healthcare records. We have a list size of 9,000 patients, and cover an area including Loddon, Chedgrave and the surrounding villages including Norton Sub Course, Hoverston and Surlingham.
