Aramark UK is looking for a Health & Safety Compliance Officer to make a real impact. This full-time, field-based role offers the chance to deliver expert support to our locations in the Uppingham area. You’ll work closely with the Director of Catering and UK Safety Director to champion health and safety compliance, food safety and information standards across our operations. Read on… What’s in it for you Competitive salary of up to £35,000 Company pension Access to MyStaff Shop discounts Generous annual leave allowance, increasing in line with service and the opportunity to buy extra days Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and in-house mental health champions Exceptional training and development opportunities Key responsibilities: Providing expert technical advice on all safety matters Partnering with management and operational teams to ensure full compliance with legal and company safety standards Maintaining and updating safety policies, procedures and SOPs to reflect current legislation and industry developments Supporting site visits, offering hands-on guidance to drive adherence to safety protocols Collaborating with employees, contractors, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders on safety issues Assisting in incident investigations, preparing reports and driving corrective actions to prevent recurrence and foster continuous improvement Driving new health and safety initiatives to enhance overall safety performance Contributing to projects as assigned by the UK Safety Director You’ll be set up for success if you have: Proven experience in food service, contract catering or hospitality Solid knowledge of food safety controls and relevant legislation Hands-on expertise in food safety management A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Team-focused and people-centric approach to work If you are applying for this role and you already work for Aramark, you must notify your line manager before submitting your application.
