Nursery/ EYFS Support Assistants
Multiple roles available in Nursery and EYFS classes in the Bolton area. These jobs are available on a full-time and part-time basis, for emergency cover, absences (short-term and long-term) as well as gaps in staffing.
* Start date: December 2024 onward
* Competitive rate £12.90+
* Working hours: Schools – 8.30am-3.30pm and Nurseries 8.00am-6.00pm/ 8.00-1.00pm
* Nursery/ EYFS experience is not required to be successful in these roles
The schools and nurseries require staff on a short-term and long-term basis which could be either on a full-time or a part-time basis. They are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference with children in Specialist settings. Within these roles, as a Nursery/ EYFS support assistant, you will be expected to create positive relationships with the children and encourage positive choices and behaviour. You will be expected to provide general support within the classes and work collaboratively with other support staff and the class teachers/ room leaders.
Long-term roles available
* Full-time positions (Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm)
* Required to commit to the school on a long-term basis
* Interested in securing a permanent role
Short-term roles available
* Part-time and/or full-time positions (Varied/ ad-hoc days - 8.00am-6.00pm/ 8.00-1.00pm/ 8.30am-3.30pm)
* Would be covering emergency/ scheduled absences
The school is keen to consider a variety of staff in terms of experience; you are likely to be successful whether you are an experienced EYFS practitioner, a graduate looking for experience in the education sector, or have current or prior experience as a support/care worker. If you have supported individuals with additional needs, that would be desirable; however, this is not essential to be successful.
