Quality Inspector (Repairs & Maintenance)
Our growing In-House Maintenance Team is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join us as a Quality Inspector, helping ensure all completed repairs and maintenance works are of high quality and comply with current legislative requirements. This is a key role in driving positive tenant satisfaction and continuous improvement to our class-leading repairs service.
As a Quality Inspector, you will hold responsibility for the quality of repairs and maintenance works carried out by contractors and operatives, always striving to maintain and provide an efficient service for our tenants.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Conducting post inspections on all repair and maintenance works to ensure a high-quality repairs service is delivered in our tenants' homes.
* Monitoring contractor and operative performance and adherence to agreed-upon quality standards and timelines.
* Communicating effectively with tenants regarding repairs and maintenance activities, addressing any concerns related to the quality of work performed.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed records of inspections, findings, corrective actions, and follow-up activities.
* Identifying trends, common issues, and opportunities for process improvements/corrective action plans in repairs and maintenance.
Our ideal candidate? Your CV and covering letter will demonstrate the following:
* A relevant qualification in a building-related discipline or site management or equivalent knowledge as demonstrated through a track record of relevant work experience.
* Experience carrying out property inspections and a good understanding of relevant building regulations and compliance legislation.
* Proven knowledge and experience of repairs and maintenance works, including a good understanding of Health & Safety legislation & CDM Regulations.
* Experience managing budgets alongside the associated financial administration.
* Experience using various IT systems to manage and track data used for producing detailed reports.
