An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Nurse to join the Urology team at Bodmin Treatment Centre. This role will require 1 day a week at RCHT and 2 days at Bodmin. The successful candidate will be required to carry out their induction at both centres. The applicant must have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and undertake new skills. The applicant would work as a skilled member of the team ensuring a high standard of care is delivered to patients attending the Urology Clinic. A background in Surgical/Urology Nursing is desired. This is a part time post working 27 hrs per week each over 3 days. Priority will be given to NHS staff at risk. To work as a skilled member of the nursing team, within the specialities of Urology Surgery and to provide a high standard of compassionate patient centred care.

To communicate effectively at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team.
To be able to take charge of the department in the absence of senior nursing staff, as deemed appropriate by the Department Sister or Clinical Matron
