Overview
1. To record technical & legislative compliance of the business through routine documentation & processes.
2. Support the implementation, maintenance, continuous improvement of the site quality management system.
3. Support the sites to ensure full compliance to BRCGS standards.
Responsibilities
1. Completion of customer or supplier product technical specifications and completing intake specifications with our bottling facility.
2. Submission of packaging data e.g. PRN, EPR.
3. Completion of customer approval questionnaires.
4. Completion of HMRC traceability requests.
5. Lead the complaints monthly meetings & manage complaint investigations with the suppliers, ensuring corrective & preventative actions are in place.
6. Lead the Non-conformance monthly meetings & manage complaint investigations with the suppliers, ensuring corrective actions are in place.
7. Lead the internal audit monthly meetings, carry out internal audits & support the team.
8. Support the bulk wine production process by managing any out of specification intake results.
9. Completion of customer approval documentation.
10. Supporting the NPD process for the technical requirements of new wines through label approval.
11. Collection of technical data for trending KPI results.
12. Be an active member of the HACCP, TACCP & VACCP teams.
13. Respond to technical queries.
Person Specification
1. Comfortable using multiple platforms and cloud-based systems.
2. Previous food manufacturing experience in a technical or production capacity.
3. Experience of analysis, investigation or data-driven role.
4. Methodical approach to data and process.
5. High level of attention to detail.
6. Good level of competency with Microsoft Excel.
7. Good communication skills, familiar with working with colleagues in all parts of the business.
8. Able to take initiative and propose creative solutions to problems.
