Access Control Engineer - On-Site Role Red Sky Personnel is proud to partner with a leading fencing company that operates across security, infrastructure, and residential sectors. We are looking for an experienced Access Control Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting on-site role, where you'll work with both residential and commercial clients. You'll be involved in a wide range of tasks, providing the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys learning new skills and working with advanced technologies. Key Responsibilities: Installation, testing, and maintenance of access control systems across residential, commercial, and high-security sites, including MOD sites, data centres, and more. Work with leading access control technologies and systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met on every project. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and the internal office team to ensure smooth project delivery. Take responsibility for the overall quality of your work, ensuring all installations are in line with industry standards and regulations. Skills & Experience: Full UK driving licence - Essential. CSCS Card - Essential. DHF (Door & Hardware Federation) Diploma or Gate Safe Certification - Desirable (training can be provided for the right candidate). Previous experience in testing, installing, and maintaining access control systems. Basic IT skills - experience with system software and networking is a plus. Desirable Skills: Electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds) - helpful but not essential. Familiarity with various access control systems (e.g., card readers, biometric systems, etc.). Prior experience in similar roles with a focus on security systems and integrations. Work Schedule & Location: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with the potential for occasional overtime and weekend work. Based in Battle, with coverage across the Home Counties.
